I’ve had the most extraordinary opportunity to make the acquaintance of a family looking to have a series of portraits taken depicting their children and their family. There were three children varying in ages, which I thought would be quite challenging, but the children were just a delight! They were lively, active, lovely and took wonderful photos! I had so much fun with this family and enjoyed working with the children so much. It was such a pleasure to be a small part of this family if only for an hour or so, but it was truly the highlight of my photographic year so far!

Below is a small sample of photos taken during the portrait session which started at the beach and culminated in a trip to a local ice cream stand.

Halo Purely for Pets are an amazing company! I recently finished a photo shoot for them featuring their Spot’s Stew line of products, and duly blogged about it. It was great to then see that they took my blog and turned it into a guest blog on their site.

I wouldn’t blog about their products if I didn’t truly believe in the products and the company itself. When Halo Purely for Pets, a company co-owned by Ellen DeGeneres, contacted me to work with them again (see http://blog.angelacoulombe.com/random-still-life/halo-purely-for-pets/), I was over the moon. Spot’s Stew Wild Salmon Recipe contains Salmon, Eggs, Pea Protein, Oats, Vegetable Broth, Pearled Barley, Whole Peas, Chicken, Flax Seed, Salmon Oil, Pea Fiber, Sweet Potatoes, Apples, Blueberries, Green Beans, Carrots, Cranberries, Zucchini, Alfalfa amongst other nutritious ingredients.
