Returning back to the Boston Seafood Show in 2010 presented a slightly different vibe from the 2009 show. I was pleasantly surprised when I was recognized and cordially greeted by several exhibitors that I had photographed the year before. It seems that bond between willing participant and photographer made a lasting impression and I was pleased to be able to re-establish this relationship. As always, I enjoy the challenge of photographing the International Boston Seafood Show with it’s mixture of activity, equipment, product and people on the show floor. Conveying the magnitude of the event is never easy; from the crowds to the special events and this year seeing the use of social media (tweets, facebook, etc), presented some interesting opportunities to use photography in an ever evolving way.
